In the past two hours I've gotten multiple texts from school telling me to stay away from the MIT campus just down MassAve from our own campus because there's been a shooting. An MIT security officer is dead.

I got called for jury duty earlier this week--ironically, both noeon and I got called for the same day in a weird statistical anomaly which turned out to be rather providential.
